The "Transition" and "Green" Seasons

Some say the transition and green seasons, which runs from May through mid-November.  You'll love how lush the greenery is surrounding The Villa Mariana year round, but the rest of the town is truly magnificent during this time of year!  The waterfalls are exploding and the whitewater rafting is at it's absolute best.  What's even better than that?  The days are typically full of sunshine with only a short rain here and there, allowing you to experience the best of both worlds.  The Villa Mariana is situated close to a main road, but yet you are totally secluded in a jungle setting, making even a short afternoon rain an amazing and peaceful experience!

The "Dry" Season

Others say the "dry" season that runs from mid-November through end of April.  Coming out of the rainy season, December and January are the most popular months to tour Manuel Antonio, when the tropical greenery is in full effect and the humidity starts to decrease.  You'll enjoy hiking, ATV tours, zipline and canopy tours, horseback riding, visiting Manuel Antonio National Park, buggy tours through the town, and all of the wonderful activities that you can also partake in during the low season.  Or, just sit by the pool at The Villa Mariana and allow the chef to prepare a wonderful lunch for you, served poolside.  You can't go wrong anytime of the year at The Villa Mariana!
