Tourists from the USA Permitted to Enter Costa Rica

Beginning November 1, 2020

Residents of all residents of the United States of America will be permitted to enter Costa Rica as tourists starting November 1, 2020. Beginning October 26, 2020, travelers do NOT need a negative COVID-19 test prior to their flights, nor are they required to quarantine upon arrival. View information about the press conference here. Beginning October 15, 2020

Residents of Texas, Florida and Georgia will be permitted to enter Costa Rica as tourists starting October 15, 2020. Travelers must have a driver's license from one of these states to enter the country.

Beginning October 1, 2020

Residents of California and Ohio will be permitted to enter Costa Rica as tourists starting October 1, 2020. Travelers must have a driver's license from one of these states to enter the country.

Beginning September 15, 2020

Residents of the following states will be permitted to enter Costa Rica as tourists starting September 15, 2020: Pennsylvania, Massachusettes, Colorado, Washington, Oregon, Wyoming, Arizona, New Mexico, Michigan and Rhode Island. Travelers must have a driver's license from one of these states to enter the country

Beginning September 1, 2020

Residents of the following states will be permitted to enter Costa Rica as tourists starting September 1, 2020: New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Connecticut, Maryland, Virginia and Washington D.C. Travelers must have a driver's license from one of these states to enter the country.
